what the fuck?!

there are some insanely nasty germs in Chicago this winter! I just got over strep and an ear infection last week, and I have another sore throat and body aches today! my immune system must be crap, because I can't seem to get well. Tonight, I am going to make chili and put every single fresh and canned vegetable in the house into it. maybe the vitamin punch will help. I hope so - I can't stand this.

I looked at a two-bedroom apartment in our building today. our place is so small - we reallly need more space. Most of our things are still in boxes because we don't have anywhere to put them. the unit was sizeable, which i liked, and it had two baths, a dishwasher, and a storage room, but it was very long and narrow. i would feel like i was living in an aerbus. some others are opening in the spring, so maybe we will like one of them better.

not too much else going on, I guess. It's too cold to go anywhere, so we haven't done anything interesting. have a day off tomorrow, so i might go take a little nap. more later.
