it's beautiful outside today - lots of sun, high thin clouds, birds chirping. this is chicago at its best. the city seems so inviting when the weather is good. i can't wait for the trees to have leaves again, but the flowers have popped up about 5 inches from the ground! we're having a picnic by the lake tomorrow. love having a lake 4 blocks away from where we live. nothing new to report other than nice weather. snooze...

I thought that this might be an easy way for my peeps from Columbus and elsewhere to keep up with what's going on with us in Chi-town. I will try to do this blogging thing daily, but I can't make any promises. Enjoy the ramblings.
Just moved to Chicago from Columbus, Ohio. Yeehaw! At a new job, living in a new hood, and eating my way across the city. Damn, they have the best pizza here! Forget New York - Chicago pizza rules! What else? Just got my Masters degree, doing good social work for a very cool agency, married to my best friend, have wicked smart friends who I love dearly... Life is pretty good right now.
